Dr Aatif Parkar

Aatif graduated from Barts and the London School of Dentistry in 2012. Following a year of foundation training in the Berkshire deanery, he went on to complete a year working as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Southampton General Hospital. Here he developed his skills in Oral Surgery, as well as gaining valuable insight and experience in the management of head and neck oncology, trauma and orthognathic surgery. Having worked in general practice since 2014, Aatif established a strong foundation in all areas of general dentistry, however, it was in the field of Endodontics that he developed the keenest interest. In 2018 he undertook a full-time Masters’ degree in Endodontics at the world-renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute, which he completed in 2019. During this year of intensive study, Aatif acquired the breadth of knowledge and technical skills required for the diagnosis and management of challenging Endodontic cases. Aatif has a calm and gentle chairside manner and is particularly confident in managing nervous patients. He always endeavours to ensure that the experience of dental treatment is a positive one for all patients.
