Marks main interest is Endodontics, the area of dentistry which covers root canal treatments and dental trauma. Originally from Northern Ireland, Mark graduated from the University of Leeds in 2003. He is a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry and has postgraduate qualifications in medical and dental education. He completed his Post-graduate Diploma in Endodontics at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Hospital in London in 2016. Mark is also a Training Programme Director for the NHS England working with the Dental Foundation Training scheme, teaching and supporting newly qualified dentists. As one of Yorkshire’s most highly respected endodontic clinicians, Mark also lectures and runs hands-on courses to teach other dentists how to improve their root canal treatment skills. Mark has twice been elected onto the council of the British Endodontic Society.
